Your Order Please privacy and cookie statement

 

Personal details or personal data are processed though the Your Order Please service of HMSHost, which allows you to place and pay for orders in a secure and user-friendly way.

 

The careful handling of personal data is of great importance to Your Order Please. Accordingly, we process and protect personal data with the greatest possible care. We comply with the data processing requirements set out in EU privacy legislation, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), when processing personal data.

 

This privacy statement sets out which personal data we collect and use, and for what purpose. We recommend that you read this privacy statement carefully.

Purposes of processing

Your Order Please processes personal data for the following purposes:

  • logging-in and verifying/authorising users of the service;

  • successfully completing orders and payments;

  • the communication between Your Order Please and the users;

  • conducting quality research amongst the users;

  • monitoring and auditing the service;

  • analysing statistics and optimising the service.

 

Use of personal data

In using our service, you deposit certain details with us, which may include personal data. We retain and use only the personal data that we receive directly from you, or of which it is clear at the time of receipt that this data is provided to us for the purpose of processing. Your Order Please will not use the personal data for any other purposes unless that purpose is compatible with any of the original purposes or you have given prior consent for this.

 

 

You have to create an account to gain access to and use our service. You personally provide the data that we process to do this. The following data is collected when you create an account:

  • first and last name;

  • email address;

  • payment details;

  • telephone number;

  • user name;

  • account ID (automatically created upon your registration).

 

The aforementioned data is used for the purposes specified above. We process this data based on the execution of the agreement that we have with you.

 

Retention periods

We retain your data no longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this privacy and cookie statement.

Your data will be removed if you delete your account; in addition, your data will be removed if you have not used the service for two years.

 

Provision of data to third parties

We will not provide the data you have supplied us with to third parties if you have not given permission for us to do so, unless it is necessary to fulfil the agreement you have entered into with Your Order Please, for maintaining Your Order Please or if there is a legal requirement to do so.

Third parties which may receive (some of) your personal data for the fulfilment of the agreement are the parties from which you place an order via Your Order Please. These parties are considered joint controllers in processing your personal data.

Furthermore, the following types of parties may receive (some of) your personal data as data processor on behalf of Your Order Please:

 

We have concluded data processing agreements with all the above parties to ensure that your personal data is handled with the same care by them as by Your Order Please.

Cookies

Our service uses cookies. Third parties engaged by us place cookies on your computer as well.

 

A pop-up informing you about our use of cookies and, if necessary, requesting your consent for placing the cookies is displayed each time you visit our service.

 

Some cookies ensure that certain sections of the service function properly and that your user preferences remain available. In addition, cookies are used to adapt our service to the surfing behaviour of our visitors as far as possible. These cookies are deleted automatically when you close your web browser.

We also use Google Analytics. We use this service for monitoring and reporting on how visitors use the service. We have made agreements with Google on the use of cookies, but we do not have full control over what Google itself does with the cookies. Minors

Persons under the age of 16 years are only allowed to use our service under the supervision of their parents or legal representatives.

 

Amendments to this privacy statement

We reserve the right to amend our privacy statement. We will announce any amendments to this statement concerning significant changes to the way we handle your personal data through the service. We recommend that you check this statement regularly, to ensure that you aware of any changes.

 

Review and amendment of your data

You are entitled to inspect your personal data processed by Your Order Please upon written or electronic request. Please send your request to Your Order Please by emailing info@yourorderplease.com.

 

If (part of) the data we process is incorrect, you can amend your account data by logging in and submitting the required change(s). Furthermore, you can ask Your Order Please to amend any other types of personal data or have your data deleted. If Your Order Please receives such a request, we may ask you for additional information to ensure that the request has been submitted by the correct person.

 

You may furthermore:

  • Request us to limit the processing of your personal data if a lawful basis therefore applies;

  • Object to the processing of your personal data insofar we process your personal data on the lawful basis of legitimate interest, in any case specifically insofar we use your personal data for direct marketing purposes;

 

We will respond to any of the above requests within one month after receiving it. If we need more time to (fully) comply with the request within one month, we will notify you within the first month. In such cases, we may respond within three months after receiving a request.


Dutch Data Protection Authority

We are happy to help you if you have any complaints about the processing of your personal data. Pursuant to privacy legislation, you have the right to submit a complaint concerning the processing of your personal data by our company to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
